SEO and AI visibility

Your customers have questions. Give them a real answer.

I help you work on how you are found in search engines and in AI answers. We start with the questions your potential customers are asking, what your business actually has to say about them, and how to make that clear. If that has to work in more than one language, that is part of the same conversation.

A page has to add something

I want a good reason for every new page. Maybe you help someone make a difficult choice. Maybe you explain how you work, or answer a question customers keep asking you.

There is usually something more interesting in that than in another general article about your industry. I want the knowledge and experience behind your business to become visible. We look at which pages need attention and what information is still missing.

SEO and AI visibility are the same decision

I treat being found in search engines and being found in AI answers, through ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, as one approach. You will hear several names for it: SEO for AI, AI visibility, GEO. The questions I care about are the same ones. Who do you want to reach, what are they asking, and what can you credibly contribute to that?

For Google's AI features, Google says the existing SEO fundamentals still apply. Helpful, reliable content and an accessible website remain part of it. Read Google's explanation of AI features and your website.

I cannot guarantee a position in Google or a mention in an AI answer. What I will be concrete about is what we improve, why, and how we track it.

Being found in more than one language

Translating a page does not make it findable in the new market. People search with different words, compare against different competitors, and ask AI assistants their questions in their own language.

So if a page has to work in Dutch, English and Norwegian, I would rather look at each market's questions separately than translate one set of pages and hope. Sometimes that means the same page with different wording. Sometimes it means one market needs a page the other does not.

From questions to work on your site

We decide which topics and pages matter most to your business. I help you make choices about the content, the structure and how it connects to what you offer.

With some clients I handle the agreed work from start to finish. With larger organizations I often work alongside their developer. If needed, I can bring in a developer myself. We make it clear up front who handles what.

If you also advertise, we take into account how SEO and your campaigns can support each other.

Being able to explain what changes

We agree what we judge progress on. Think relevant searches, visits to the pages that matter, and inquiries. I also want to know whether the people getting in touch are a fit for your business.

If we track AI visibility, we record what we saw, for which question, and when. A single mention says very little about how many customers it reached. So I want to put those observations next to your other results rather than on their own.

Starting where the attention is needed

You can bring me in for a defined job or for ongoing support. We agree what work fits within your SEO budget and what gets priority. You do not have to buy advertising to work with me on this.

What should your website explain better?

Email me your website, who you want to reach and what you are running into. Also if you do not yet know whether the problem is the content, the visibility or the technical side.
