Patience needs an explanation

Marketing takes time. So does building a brand. But “give it a while longer” is not a convincing answer when it stays unclear what we are working on or what we are learning.

What bothers me is a long contract standing in for that explanation. So for ongoing work I offer an arrangement you can stop at any time. I would rather you understood why you are continuing with me.

I look further than the next spike

A trick can produce a result today. My question is what it is worth to you a year from now. Are you building a brand people can rely on, or looking for a new trick next month?

I choose work that still holds up later: deliver quality, understand what works, and build on it.

Overview and execution

I look at how your marketing activities fit together. What role does advertising play? What can SEO contribute? And do your campaigns connect to your business goals?

From that overview I work on your advertising campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads. SEO and AI visibility is part of the same approach. I also consider other pieces, such as email marketing, within the wider plan. For delivery we agree what I take on myself and where other expertise is needed.

Experience

From online stores to international brands

I have been working in online marketing since I was sixteen. I have been self-employed since 2016.

Much of my corporate work has been marketing localization for large clients, often through established agencies and under their name. I adapt marketing for another language and market, in every combination of Dutch, English and Norwegian. If you work at an agency and need someone who can contribute behind the scenes, that is work I am set up for.

Alongside that I have experience in e-commerce and with businesses that need new inquiries: online stores, roofers and smaller contractors. My experience also includes work for pharmaceutical companies and for ice cream and clothing brands.

The Netherlands & Norway

A different market asks for a different approach

I have lived and worked in both countries. That is why I notice how differently people can approach a purchase. In the Netherlands I often see sharp price comparison and plenty of alternatives. In Norway trust takes more work, especially for online purchases. Even a good product has to earn it.

So when I localize, I look at what people need in order to buy: the words you choose, how your offer comes across, and whether your story earns trust.

Arrangements that fit the job

For a defined project we can agree on a fixed price or a set number of hours. If more hours are needed, we agree on that first.

For ongoing support you can choose an arrangement you are free to end at any time; you pay only for the hours already worked. We agree up front on what I take on and how I invoice the hours.
