Patience needs an explanation
Marketing takes time. So does building a brand. But “give it a while longer” isn't a convincing answer when it stays unclear what we're working on or what we're learning.
It bothers me when a long contract replaces that explanation. That's why you can stop ongoing work with me at any time. I want you to understand why you keep working with me.
I look further than the next spike
A trick can produce a result today. My question is what it's worth to you a year from now. Are you building a brand people can rely on, or looking for a new trick next month?
I choose work that still holds up later: delivering quality, understanding what works and building on it.
The big picture and the hands-on work
I look at how your marketing activities fit together. What role does advertising play? What can SEO contribute? And do your campaigns connect to your business goals?
Then I set up your advertising campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads or TikTok Ads and work on your SEO and AI visibility. Other channels, such as email marketing, become part of the wider plan. Up front we agree on what I do myself and where other expertise is needed.
Experience
From online stores to international brands
I've been working in online marketing since I was sixteen. I've been self-employed since 2016.
I have experience in e-commerce and with businesses that want new inquiries, such as online stores, roofers and other smaller contractors. I've also worked for pharmaceutical companies and for ice cream and clothing brands.
I've done marketing localization for large clients, often through established agencies. For a large web hosting company, I localized marketing copy on an ongoing basis for years. I work between Dutch, English and Norwegian, from any one of them into either of the other two. Agencies can also bring me in for work under their own name.
The Netherlands & Norway
A different market asks for a different approach
I've lived and worked in both countries. That's why I notice how differently people can approach a purchase. In the Netherlands I often see buyers compare prices closely, with plenty of alternatives to choose from. In Norway I notice that trust needs extra attention, especially when people buy online. Even a good product has to earn it.
So when I localize, I look at what people need before they buy: the words you choose, how your offer comes across and whether your story earns trust.
Arrangements that fit the job
You can bring me in for a fixed-price project or a set number of hours. If more is needed, we talk about it first.
Ongoing support is recurring monthly work that follows a marketing plan, with a written summary every month. You can stop at any time and pay only for the hours I've already worked.
