If you get in touch
If you email me, I use your name, your contact details and whatever you choose to share to answer your question and discuss a possible project. If you're asking about a possible project, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before we enter into an agreement. For other business questions, the legal basis is my legitimate interest: answering relevant correspondence.
If you don't become a client, I keep your inquiry and the related emails for up to 90 days after the contact has ended. If you do become a client, different retention periods apply to project and accounting records, partly because of the legal requirement to keep accounting records. Those periods are separate from the one for an inquiry through the website.
Your message is processed through my email service provider. I don't automatically add you to a newsletter or an advertising audience.
If you visit the website
The website has no contact form and no accounts, and doesn't use Google Tag Manager. I haven't added any advertising or analytics code to it myself. Fonts and photos are loaded from the website itself.
The website is hosted on ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI. To deliver and secure the website, that service processes technical data from each request, such as your IP address, information about your browser and the page you request. Sites also has built-in statistics on visitors and page views. The legal basis is my legitimate interest: a working, secure website and insight into how it's used.
The hosting uses Cloudflare for security. Cloudflare may set the security cookie __cf_bm to detect automated abuse. That cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can read more in Cloudflare's cookie information.
OpenAI describes how it processes visitor data in its privacy information for ChatGPT Sites. At launch, Sites doesn't guarantee that data is processed solely within the EEA. How processing, retention and any international transfer are handled depends on the applicable hosting terms and data processing agreements.
On pages that show the Google Partner badge, including the homepage, the badge is loaded directly from Google. Google therefore receives technical data from the request, including your IP address. See Google's privacy policy. Links to other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Your rights and questions
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Depending on the processing, you can also object, ask for restriction or request your data in a portable format. Email Dominique@framvekst.no for this. I may ask for information to confirm that the request comes from you.
Do you have a complaint about the processing? You can contact the Norwegian supervisory authority Datatilsynet (in Norwegian), or the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
